This Cookie Policy explains how Rectrix Link Pte. Ltd. ("Rectrix Link", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Rectrix Link travel command centre, including our websites and applications (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an application. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the site. We also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits (SDKs) in our mobile applications; in this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to operate and secure the Service, to remember your preferences, to understand how the Service is used, and to improve it. We use both session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies. These are essential to provide the Service and its features, to authenticate users, maintain sessions, and prevent fraudulent use of accounts. The Service cannot function properly without them, so they cannot be switched off in our systems.

  • Functionality Cookies. These allow us to remember choices you make, such as your login details, language and region, so we can provide a more personalised experience.

  • Performance and Analytics Cookies. These help us understand how visitors interact with the Service by collecting information such as which pages are visited most often. We use this information to improve how the Service works.

  • Notice Acceptance Cookies. These record whether you have accepted the use of cookies on the Service.

  • Marketing / Communication Cookies. If used, these help us measure the effectiveness of our own communications. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-app advertising trackers.

4. Third-Party Cookies, SDKs and Tracking Technologies

These currently include, among others, Stripe (payments), Google (Maps, Places and sign-in), Apple and Meta/Facebook (sign-in), Pusher (real-time messaging) and Sentry / GlitchTip (error monitoring). These third parties may set their own cookies or identifiers when you use the Service. We do not control these cookies, and you should review the relevant third party's cookie and privacy policies for more information.

Our mobile apps (including the Tracker app) do not use browser cookies. Instead, they use software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers from the following providers to deliver and support the Service:

  • Firebase (Google) — push notifications and authentication.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement checks.
  • Google — sign-in, Maps and Places.
  • Meta / Facebook Login SDK — Facebook sign-in.
  • Sentry / GlitchTip — crash and error diagnostics.

We do not use these technologies for cross-app advertising: we do not request access to your device's advertising identifier, and product analytics in Firebase is not enabled. Your use of these third-party services is also subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. On mobile devices, you can manage certain tracking permissions through your device settings. Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the Service may become inaccessible or may not function properly.
