Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rectrix Link travel command centre, including our websites, mobile applications and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Rectrix Link Pte. Ltd. ("Rectrix Link", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rectrix Link (the "Site" and/or "App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any posted guidelines or rules applicable to the services you use. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Rectrix Link provides a travel command centre that coordinates travel across multiple types of users, including tourists and travellers, drivers, contractors, tour guides and travel agents. The Service provides tools for managing bookings, itineraries, dispatch, real-time tracking, communication and related functionality. You are responsible for providing the equipment and Internet connection necessary to access the Service and for any fees associated with that connection.
Rectrix Link acts as a technology platform that facilitates coordination between users. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not ourselves provide transport, tour or other travel services, and we are not a party to the arrangements made between users through the Service.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. User Responsibilities and Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. Additional responsibilities apply depending on your role:
- Drivers, contractors and tour guides are responsible for holding and maintaining all licences, permits, insurance and accreditations required by law to provide their services, and for performing those services safely and professionally.
- Travel agents are responsible for the accuracy of the bookings, itineraries and information they manage and for their dealings with the travellers and providers they coordinate.
- Tourists and travellers are responsible for providing accurate booking information and for complying with the reasonable instructions of service providers and applicable laws while travelling.
You agree not to take any action that could compromise the security of the Service, render it inaccessible to others, or otherwise damage the Service or its content, and not to use the Service in any manner that interferes with the rights of third parties.
Objectionable content and zero tolerance for abuse. The Service includes features that let users communicate and share content with one another, including in-app messaging. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you agree not to create, upload, post, send or share any content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise objectionable, or to harass, bully, impersonate or endanger any other user. Rectrix Link has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.
To keep the community safe, the Service provides tools that let you:
- Report objectionable messages or users directly from the app;
- Block any user, which immediately stops all messaging between you and that user.
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on them within 24 hours, which may include removing content and suspending or terminating the accounts of users who violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. By using the Service you agree to these terms; there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
5. Bookings, Fees and Payment
Certain features of the Service are provided on a paid or subscription basis. Where fees apply, the applicable charges, billing cycle and payment terms will be presented to you before you commit to a purchase or subscription. Web payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe; in-app purchases and subscriptions made through our mobile apps are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play (managed using RevenueCat). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.
Unless stated otherwise, fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us and our payment providers to charge your chosen payment method for all fees due.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Cancellation of bookings made between users through the Service may also be subject to the terms of the relevant service provider or travel agent.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Rectrix Link Pte. Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services and Content
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services and content (for example mapping, payment and social login providers). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms. Content provided by users remains the responsibility of those users.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Further disclaimers are set out in our Disclaimer. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any travel arrangements coordinated through the Service will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rectrix Link and its affiliates, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim . Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rectrix Link and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. All provisions of the Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by them.
